Being a part of International Schools Partnership - ISP opens up a global community of curious, confident leaders and learners and world-class practices.

Through the ISP’s Learning.First.™ approach, we at Fairmont Prep strengthen our commitment to learners’ "good struggle" by focusing on student-centred growth, metacognitive awareness, and continuous improvement. In this partnership, every Husky is supported to get better: academically, personally, and globally.

We want to prepare students for the next level.

As counselors, we help students find the right fit and matches and ask them questions about what's important to them and what they are searching for in school. We rely on our vast knowledge of schools across the globe and help them find schools that might be adventurous.

There are such small class sizes, you get the individual attention you need to succeed, and my teachers know where my strengths are, where my weaknesses are, and how to build off of that.

Entering science and engineering competitions is really valuable because it affords students the opportunity to apply the things they learn in the classroom – beyond what’s in the textbook – in very meaningful ways

ASEP’s advanced science curriculum moves students beyond foundational knowledge into authentic scientific and engineering practice.

Anchored by core courses in Methodologies in Science and Engineering and Bioengineering, students then pursue advanced study aligned with their interests through options such as Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology, university-level Engineering, and Advanced Coding Languages and AI.

I had the unique opportunity to sit in at a freshman class in Duke University.

Sitting there and listening to those presentations kind of made me realize that my curriculum at my own school was very very similar to that of a Top 20 university. Just being a part of ASEP in general makes me feel really prepared for a college and afterwards.

Although taking a class in a completely foreign language was daunting at first, by taking AP Mandarin, I was able to grow my foreign language skills and foster a new appreciation for Chinese culture.

Learning a foreign language has a lasting and positive impact on students. It enhances their comprehension,  problem-solving and critical thinking skills by challenging learners to view reality from multiple perspectives.

My time at Fairmont could not have prepared me better for college.

The school provided an amazing environment that not only challenged me academically but also taught me how to think critically and independently. I’m deeply grateful for the support I received both inside and outside the classroom.

Fairmont has been my home for 13 years and will always hold a special place in my heart. The education and support I received at Fairmont Prep prepared me for success beyond high school.

I currently attend the University of San Diego with the highest merit scholarship and automatic acceptance into the Honors Program, an achievement I credit to Fairmont’s exceptional academic preparation and encouragement to excel beyond expectations.

Fairmont has helped me grow both academically and personally.

One of the most impactful experiences for me has been participating in ASB and helping plan school events like Culture Day and rallies. Being involved behind the scenes showed me how much teamwork and creativity go into building a strong school community, and it made me feel more connected to the people around me.

One of the most impactful parts of my experience at this school has been learning from my teachers, especially in psychology and chemistry.

Their teaching styles focus on clear examples and in-depth explanations, which helped me truly understand complex concepts instead of just memorizing information. Because of them, I’ve built a strong academic foundation and developed a deeper appreciation for learning.

I would recommend this school to students who are genuinely curious and motivated to learn.

One of the most impactful experiences for me was working independently in the lab for my AP Chemistry final. Designing my own procedure and conducting the experiment on my own gave me real, hands-on experience and confirmed that I want to study chemistry in college.

As a student who has been studying at Fairmont for three years, I'm sincerely thankful to the teachers for allowing me to participate in the art program.

Fairmont's art program gives every one of us an equal amount of opportunity to express our ideas, collaborate with different people, and most importantly, have fun enjoying the process of creating art. The program developed me from an introvert into a much more communicative person who can work with everyone.
