Spanish
At our bilingual school in California, students grow from novice to advanced proficiency, mastering communication and cultural understanding through immersive classes and real-world practice. Advanced learners tackle AP Spanish Language.
Chinese (Mandarin)
Learners start as beginners and progress to advanced levels, building strong speaking, reading, and writing skills. The curriculum includes AP Chinese in Grades 11 and 12, with expert teachers guiding students through interactive lessons and cultural exploration.
American Sign Language
Students fulfill the Language Other Than English requirement by engaging in ASL courses at the High School level.
Integrated into the curriculum, ASL classes build expressive and receptive skills, foster empathy, and encourage students to connect with different ways of communicating. Every lesson inspires confidence and broadens perspectives.
Through a rich mix of language experiences, students at Fairmont Private School in Anaheim put in practice their linguistic skills, getting ready to become communicators without borders.
Coursework and grades show continuous evidence of achievement, from novice to advanced, with listening, speaking, reading, and writing reported through Canvas and MySchoolApp. AP results and teacher-designed performance tasks mirror real-world challenges, so students see exactly how they’re doing.
Through International School Partnerships' International Opportunities program, our students immerse themselves in global opportunities and meet with peers from all over the world, practicing language skills with confidence.
English Language Learners (ELL) benefit from targeted instruction to help them achieve fluency while excelling academically. Adapted classes are designed to deliver the same knowledge, skills, and content as standard ones but at a differentiated pace with emphasis on vocabulary development and comprehension.
Learning Spanish at Prep is very engaging. Through projects, and interactive classes. It prepares me for the future in a way that I feel confident taking tests or completing my assignments.
