Fairmont’s ABP empowers students to excel in business, marketing, economics, and entrepreneurship, preparing them to enter top colleges and start successful business ventures. Students complete 230 credits, combining rigorous core subjects and electives at College Preparatory (CP), Honors (H), and Advanced Placement (AP) level, and fulfill 20 hours of community service each year. All our courses are UC approved.

At our High School in Orange County, students have the option to choose from Honor and Advanced Placement course offerings guided by experienced business educators. Every year, students take a core ABP course, building advanced knowledge on international best business practices and entrepreneurial vision by the time they graduate.
Through this introductory course, students explore management, marketing, and finance, connecting business concepts to real-world challenges. They analyze how culture, ethics, and social issues shape global business, mastering essential terminology and thinking critically about the decisions leaders face.
Every lesson is a chance to lead discussions, share ideas, and apply learning to real scenarios. By the end of the course, students own the skills and confidence to navigate today’s business world and drive change wherever they go.
Learners discover key marketing concepts, frameworks, and terminology, gaining the skills to analyze consumer behavior and understand how marketing strategies shape decisions.
Through hands-on exercises, class discussions, and sharing personal experiences, learners master the integrated marketing mix - Product, Promotion, Pricing, and Place - and learn to build competitive advantage.
This course is developed in partnership with Syracuse University.
Learners get curious about the forces shaping economies, both at home and around the world. They dive into the heart of national and global economic problems, exploring how institutions and government policies drive growth, stability, and change.

AP Microeconomics introduces students to the foundations of individual decision-making in economics. Learners interpret graphs, analyze data, and evaluate how scarcity, costs, and benefits influence choices in markets.

At our High School in Anaheim, California, students lead discussions exploring the full spectrum of management principles and leadership strategies. They analyze business ethics, strategic planning, operations, finance, marketing, and HR through hands-on case studies and simulations.
Project-based learning drives students to solve problems, make smart decisions, and innovate. Students grow as leaders, ready to shape organizations and drive change in a global business landscape.
Learners drive outcomes integrating business topics and applying practical skills to launch and manage their own venture. They lead discussions, solve problems, and track progress integrating various business topics including Accounting, Personal Finance, Administration, Operations, Communications, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, and Economics.

Students take charge in ABP internships, gaining hands-on experience in their chosen field. They spend time observing and practicing real professional tasks, not just filing or answering phones.
Every internship is student-led - learners log hours, describe duties, and present a summary of their experience, with feedback from a campus supervisor and the professional. School credit is earned for meaningful work that sparks curiosity and builds confidence.
Students complete their journey progressing with the Fairmont standard curriculum, carefully designed to prepare students for collegiate study and analysis. They build their own journey choosing from subjects in the following departments.
Students develop critical thinking skills through the study of the human experience, exploring Human Geography, World History, US History, Government and Politics, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Criminal Justice and Law, and Personal Finance.
Students comprehend, interpret, analyze, and evaluate a wide range and level of complex texts across genres, recognizing the impact of linguistic, literary, and rhetorical elements through English, Writing and Language Seminar, and English Literature and Composition.
Students develop logical, critical and creative thinking, patience and persistence in problem-solving, along with high-level reasoning through Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, Advanced Coding and AI Applications, and Complex Analysis.
Learners become informed citizens who think critically and have the ability to engage in scientific inquiry and analysis, by employing rigorous methodologies to investigate phenomena in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Quantum Physics & Computing, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Computer Science, and Game Development.

Learning is further enhanced through practical, hands-on experiences, including visits to leading companies such as DFND and Hyperice, as well as workshops with renowned business entrepreneurs, connecting classroom theory to real-world business practice.
As a good High School in Anaheim, students step up for personalized college guidance in business, marketing, and finance. An academic counsellor works closely with students in Grades 9 - 10, supporting goal-setting and progress tracking. From Grade 11, learners transition to the college counselling team, diving deeper into applications, interviews, and competitive admissions.
