At Fairmont Prep Academy, safeguarding is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of every student.
Our comprehensive safeguarding framework encompasses secure campus environments, thorough staff training, and clear policies to protect students both on and off-campus. If you have any concerns regarding a student’s safety or well-being, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
In our fully secure spaces only authorized staff, students, and visitors are allowed to enter, keeping the campus safe and protected at all times.
Our Front Office welcomes every guest with a friendly check-in process as staff greet and verify all visitors for a safe, supportive campus environment.
Our community counts on trained, caring professionals who are always nearby to support students, staff, and families while keeping the campus safe.
Continuous, attentive surveillance protects students, staff, and property, helping maintain a safe and secure school environment.
Our team ensures all parent chaperones and volunteers are fully vetted through fingerprinting via Livescan before working with students.
We foster a safe and respectful environment by having staff intervene promptly and ensuring that all students, staff, and parents follow the Fairmont Code of Conduct.
We protect student well-being by requiring all illnesses to be reported, medications authorized, and proper physician-approved labeling used.
Our team safeguards the campus by requiring updated immunization records before attendance; students cannot participate without documentation.
Our Prep Athletics ensures safe participation in athletics by having students complete the Assumption of Risk/Waiver of Liability before joining after-school sports.
Our community is trained to respond quickly to urgent situations with emergency contacts on file and severe cases sent to the nearest hospital for immediate care.
Students and staff can report concerns 24/7 using the Anonymous Alerts app or website. For easy access, posters with QR codes are displayed around campus, which provide a direct link to submit a report.
Families find standardized ISP concern forms at reception/teachers’ lounge; completed forms go in a locked box and trigger follow-up by a safety lead.
We browse in a closed and protected digital environment, with students learning how to protect their digital identity and teachers taking up recurrent online-safety updates.
Parent channels, including the Prep Parent Association, organizes meeting with guest speakers on relevant student-wellbeing and safety topics.
