Where confidence grows
What's happening
At Fairmont Anaheim Hills, students walk into a place where learning is lively, focused, and personal. Every child gets the right support to grow - academically, socially, and emotionally. Our teachers know how to guide students through Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), helping them build confidence, ask questions, and grow skills they’ll use for life.We open our doors to every student and celebrate what makes each one special. Our language support program has been running longer than most in the area, giving international students the tools to master English and succeed in all their classes.
Every student gets direct support from a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, working closely with parents, teachers, campus directors, and academic counsellors. We’re here to listen, ask questions, and help students build a growth mindset that’s part of everyday school life.Students lead their journey, set goals, and tackle challenges with expert guidance. Our counsellors help students own their progress, celebrate wins, and push through obstacles.
Students find a welcoming place to talk openly, pick up coping skills and grow in confidence. Our mental health counsellors are always ready to listen - whether it’s a one-to-one chat, a group session or a quick conversation during break, students know they’ll get understanding and support.Families and teachers work together with counsellors. Workshops on anxiety, depression, and bullying help students and parents spot problems early and build resilience.

At our Middle School in Anaheim Hills, students take charge of their Flex Period, choosing how to use their time - whether it’s tackling assignments, connecting one-on-one with teachers, chatting with counsellors, or simply recharging. Students set their own pace, make smart choices, and manage their time with confidence. It’s a space where they build strong relationships, grow in self-assurance, and fuel their drive to learn, all while preparing for what’s next.
Fairmont students don’t just keep up - they push ahead. Every learner works at least a year above their grade, stretching themselves in every lesson. When students need extra help in Language Arts, our Academic Student Services for Intervention & Support Techniques (ASSIST) steps in with targeted support.
This focused pull-out programme is open to students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5, giving them the help they need to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Students at Fairmont don’t just talk about diversity - they live it. Every day, they connect with classmates from a vibrant mix of backgrounds, languages, and traditions. As one of Orange County’s few non-religious private schools, our community brings together cultures from all over the world. Students lead the way, celebrating what makes each culture unique through campus events, holiday showcases, and community gatherings. The Fairmont Parent Association steps up, shining a spotlight on customs, food, art, and music from around the globe. Students experience new traditions, share stories, and build friendships that last.
Our established language program empowers English Language Learners (ELL) with focused, immersive instruction. In an environment that is both challenging and deeply supportive, students gain the skills and confidence to succeed.
Elementary ELL students join a personalized pull-out program, spending one to three hours each week building language skills and growing in confidence.
Personalized lessons, held one to three hours each week, help ELL students strengthen their academic skills and settle smoothly into mainstream classes.
ELL students join clubs, sports, and activities, thriving in a welcoming, inclusive community.
International ASSIST is a specialized pull-out program designed exclusively for Elementary English Language Learners. Students are assessed at the start and end of each year, and twice annually in between, with support adjusted as their proficiency levels evolve.
They receive one to three hours of one-to-one or small group instruction each week from dedicated teachers. Most students complete the two-year program successfully and thrive once mainstreamed, growing academically and personally in a supportive environment.
Middle School learners strengthen their English skills through two tailored pathways. Intensive Support provides a semi-sheltered approach, with half of courses designed for language learners and half mainstreamed, ensuring focused instruction and integration.
Intermediate Support adds one extra ELL class to regular coursework, helping students build fluency and confidence while progressing academically. Students are assessed twice annually, with support adjusted as their proficiency levels evolve.
Students enrolled in the language support program step right into every part of school life. They join clubs, play sports, take part in after-school activities, and dive into specialty programs including Speech and Debate.
A dedicated team backs every learner, making sure integration is seamless and success is visible. The impact speaks for itself - students from abroad bring fresh perspectives, spark curiosity, and drive innovation across Fairmont’s diverse community.

In design class, I took a risk by building my idea instead of just presenting it. It helped me discover my own creativity and problem-solving skills.
