Family counseling

Families have access to a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who collaborates closely with parents, teachers, campus directors, and academic counselors to ensure each learner’s needs are met.

Students take the lead on their educational journey - setting goals, overcoming challenges, and developing resilience with expert guidance. Our counselors listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help students build a growth mindset that becomes part of their everyday school experience.

Mental health

Our mental health counselors provide a safe, supportive space where students can open up, build coping skills, and gain confidence. Whether it’s a one-on-one session, a group activity, or a friendly chat during a break, learners always find understanding, empathy, and encouragement.

Counselors partner with families and teachers to foster student well-being. Through workshops on anxiety, depression, and bullying, we help students and parents recognize challenges early and build lasting resilience.

Academic assistance

Fairmont students don’t just keep up - they move ahead. Each learner works at least one year above grade level, embracing challenges in every subject.

For students who need extra help in reading or math, our Academic Student Services for Intervention & Support Techniques (ASSIST) program provides personalized support to help them operate confidently within Fairmont’s accelerated curriculum.

This targeted pull-out program is available for students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 and offers focused, small-group instruction designed to strengthen foundational skills, boost confidence, and promote long-term academic success.

Diversity and cultural celebration

At Fairmont, diversity is something we live every day. As one of Orange County’s few non-religious private schools, our community reflects a vibrant blend of cultures, languages, and traditions.

Students lead the way in celebrating diversity through campus-wide events, holiday showcases, and community gatherings that bring everyone together.

Our Fairmont Parent Association also plays a key role, highlighting customs, cuisine, art, and music from around the world - helping students experience, understand, and appreciate the beauty of every culture.
