Yes! Your child must be fully potty trained to enroll in our preschool program. This means that they must be able to tell an adult that they need to use the restroom, and then use the bathroom and wash their hands independently.
Your child may attend pre-kindergarten if they are at least three years and nine months old by September 1.
Absolutely. At Fairmont, we provide a safe environment where all members of our community show respect and kindness to one another and protect and honor each other’s rights, dignity, and individual differences. Fairmont Code
Fairmont Private Schools provides a morning and afternoon snack to all preschool and pre-kindergarten students. A snack menu is prepared monthly, with special consideration to establishing healthy eating habits with our young students. Snacks include, but not limited to, cheese and crackers, trail mix, fresh fruit and vegetables, pita and hummus dip, smoothies, yogurt, and either juice or water.
Being involved in your child’s educational experience is very important at Fairmont. Although we do not have parent volunteers that work in the classroom on a daily basis, we provide many opportunities for parents to be engaged throughout the year. In addition, all Fairmont parents are automatically members of the Fairmont Parent Association (FPA), which meets once a month and has many opportunities for involvement. Through the Fairmont Parent Ambassador program parent-spokespeople plant deep roots in the community by promoting their positive Fairmont experiences.
