Accrediting Commission for Schools – Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)

All Fairmont Private School campuses in California are accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). WASC accredits over 4,500 public, independent, church-related, and private schools from preschools to universities. The WASC accreditation process fosters excellence in elementary, secondary, and higher education by encouraging school improvement. WASC accreditation recognizes schools that meet an acceptable level of quality, in accordance with established, research-based WASC criteria.

Accreditation by AdvancED reaffirms Fairmont’s commitment to excellence and the consistent growth and improvement of its students, faculty, and staff. Whether the classroom is in Anaheim, Anaheim Hills, Tustin, or as far away as Hangzhou, China or Seoul, South Korea, every aspect of the educational experience provided by Fairmont received a comprehensive evaluation by AdvancED, the largest community of education professionals in the world. The AdvancEd accreditation process is unique in that it covered both Fairmont’s domestic program and international program as a whole.

Fairmont Summer Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), the leading authority in youth development working to preserve, promote, and improve the camp experience. ACA accreditation guarantees that Fairmont Summer Camp meets or exceeds over 200 standards for student health, safety, and program quality.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,800 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including more than 1,500 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S.
