Hi, I'm Phil. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I have been a part of Fairmont since 2013. I have served as a guest teacher, SAT proctor, immersion teacher, summer school teacher, volleyball coach, and full-time high school teacher. I teach AP World History, Econ, and Government with the Social Science department, as well as Introduction to International Business with the International Business Program. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Exegetical Studies from Hope International University, where I attended on a volleyball scholarship. I am currently the head coach for the Boys and Girls Volleyball programs here at the Prep. I love being able to positively influence student’s lives and encourage them to think more critically on the court and in the classroom. I have played volleyball most of my life and am a true competitor, and I enjoy using that competitive spirit to motivate my students and athletes alike. Outside of teaching and coaching, I love playing beach or indoor volleyball with old teammates, working on my golf game, and enjoying the outdoors with my wife and our dog Koda.
