As we power down our devices at the end of this third week of remote learning we are in a celebratory mood! Our teachers have continued to improve their students’ experience and engagement and parents are sharing their positive feedback. Although teachers are on center stage, our education and IT departments, along with our administrators, have been working hard (even nights and weekends) to support them and ensure our remote learning is not only the best today, but even better tomorrow.
We continue to follow local and national guidelines and recognize our previous return date of April 20 will be extended.
Fairmont’s Zoom educational license has been upgraded so that we can implement tighter security features and continue to enhance every student’s experience in every virtual classroom.
We’re excited about launching our FIRST-EVER Virtual Spring Break Camp featuring FUN interactive games, arts and crafts, team building and enrichment activities for students to stay connected to their Fairmont friends (details will be shared next week). We appreciate your continued loyalty and support and as a thank you, we are pleased to offer this week-long virtual camp at no cost and hope you will enjoy a much-needed respite. We are all in this together!
Stay safe and well!
