Coronavirus Update – April 10, 2020

Another week of remote learning has come to a close. Our students, teachers, and parents have continued to do an impressive job adjusting to this new normal, and we cannot thank everyone enough for their perseverance. We continue to miss all of you terribly and are excited we will still be able to virtually connect with you over spring break.

Virtual Spring Break Camp begins this Monday and will run through Friday, April 17. Your student can log in, at no additional cost, to experience fun activities — yoga, dance, art, and more! Please check tonight’s newsletter for detailed information. Parents, we hope this provides you with some respite during what is certain to be an unforgettable spring break week!

Like so many of you, we continue to hold out hope that we will return to campus before the end of the school year. However, we recognize there is a high likelihood we will need to continue remote learning. Be assured that we will continue to monitor local, state and federal guidelines and that we will reopen earlier if it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we will pursue more ways to celebrate your children, keep them actively engaged in this new learning format and provide additional support (for parents and students alike) navigating these new circumstances.

Wishing you continued health and safety,

David Jackson, Chairman
