Visual Arts

At Fairmont Schools, the visual arts program empowers students to go beyond their comfort zones and take risks in their creative endeavors. Led by a team of talented art teachers and practitioners, students are challenged to see the world in new ways through art and taught to approach problem-solving through the lens of creativity. This training has earned our students numerous accolades and awards from a variety of exhibitions and competitions, including county shows, state scholastic awards, the Laguna Beach Art Festival, and The Hexagon Project. Through a collaborative approach that emphasizes community and support, the visual arts program at Fairmont provides students with a unique perspective on the world and cultivates a lifelong love of the arts.

From dramatic theatre to comedy and improvisation; from choir to musicals; from orchestra to jazz band, Fairmont offers the perfect stage to engage in the performing arts. We aspire to nurture the novice and hone the talents and skills of the experienced performer — helping each student discover his or her unique creative voice.
