ACADEMIC AND College Counseling

Fairmont’s academic and college counseling team brings a wealth of experience to our high school students, providing crucial guidance to find the best college fit and enjoy life balance.

College Counseling

Our counseling staff meets students where they are and takes them where they want to go. They work with students to better understand their specific goals, aspirations, and individual pursuits. Beginning in 9th grade, students meet individually with their counselor a minimum of four times per year, in addition to multiple times in a group setting. Together, they hone in on goals, develop a 4-year academic plan, choose courses, create a college list, prepare for dynamic interviews, and receive assistance in completing scholarship applications.

The end result: a personalized route to reach the college of your choosing.

MEET OUR COUNSELORS

Our low student-to-counselor ratio – 78:1 Fairmont VS 527:1 California Average – means students receive exceptional one-on-one support throughout their high school experience, inspiring more confidence and greatly increasing the chances of acceptance to top universities.
