Fairmont Prep Band and Choir Take Top Honors in Recent CompetitionsApril 2009 |

Anaheim, Calif., April 27, 2009 - On Saturday, April 25, Fairmont Preparatory Academy’s Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Show Choir dazzled at Disneyland’s Music in the Parks Competition, bringing home three awards: Concert Band earned 1st place with a Superior rating, Show Choir also took 1st place with a Superior rating, and Concert Choir ended with 3rd place and a rating of Good. The Music in the Parks awards came on the heels of Fairmont’s award-winning performances in the Heritage Festival held on April 3 in San Francisco. At this competition, the Concert Band earned Gold, the Show Choir took Silver and the Concert Choir took Silver as well. |
