  • PRE-ENGINEERING: MINE, CRAFT, BUILD USING LEGO

    PRE-ENGINEERING: MINE, CRAFT, BUILD USING LEGO

    Bring Minecraft to life using tens of thousands of LEGO®! Build engineerdesigned projects such as a motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether, and a moving Minecart! Create your favorite Minecraft objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor. Whether you are new to Minecraft and LEGO or a seasoned veteran, you’ll be hooked on the endless creative possibilities.
  • ROBOTICS FUNDAMENTALS

    ROBOTICS FUNDAMENTALS

    Students will find themselves applying math and science concepts (STEM) to solve problems, use computer software to successfully program a robot, and strengthen their communication skills by learning to effectively collaborate with a team. By encouraging students to be innovative and become problem solvers, they quickly learn that they are capable of surpassing their own expectations. Students will gain skills that they will apply throughout their academic career, all while having fun learning. This session we will take it out of the ballpark and right into our room. There are no requirements necessary for students to join, and each week is a unique and exciting experience.
  • JEDI TRAINING

    JEDI TRAINING

    Play Ultimate Star Wars games, build Star Wars models, and go from Jedi Padawan to Knight in one session! Students act as Star Wars characters, learn to draw the Clone Wars characters, dress in Jedi costumes, and take home a Light Saber! (Light Saber and Jedi Costumes will be available for take home on the last day of the session.)
  • YOUNG DOCTORS

    YOUNG DOCTORS

    What’s up, Doc? Making your very own brain, that’s what! This series teaches children about the body’s circulatory system, respiratory system, and integumentary system. We’ll review basic first aid and show your child how to take blood pressure and make fake wounds that YOUNG DOCTORS like to treat!
  • ROBOTICS FUNDAMENTALS JR.

    ROBOTICS FUNDAMENTALS JR.

    Students will use basic math and science to solve problems, learn basic robot programming, and discover how to work in a team. They will love using their creativity while developing dexterity, social, and critical thinking skills. This session will explore animals of the savanna and dgearing up and gearing down. There are no requirements for students to join. Each week is a unique and exciting experience.

    CHESS CLUB

    Chess improves critical thinking and problem solving skills. It teaches patience, and good sportsmanship. Chess is a game without limits, that children can continue learning for the rest of their lives. IAC’s goal is to help build a foundation of love for the game, while helping them develop skills for their future. Students will be separated based on experience level.

    KID’S COOKING ACADEMY

    In this scrumptious class, kids will tantalize their taste buds and have fun with food! Explore different recipes each week! Learn the math of measuring, nutrition, and cooperation skills while creating fabulous meals, competing in cooking challenges, and discovering that cooking is a fun and delicious art form. (Please inform the school office and the cooking instructor of any allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have before the classes start.)

    DISCOVERING SCIENCE: PROGRAMMABLE SPEEDY BOT

    Get ready to join the science fun as Discovering Science brings all new robot builds to the next level! Design, create, and put your very own Speedy-Bot to the test. Every student that attends will get to fully design and innovate their robot in order to complete numerous missions. The possibilities are endless, with tons of ways to engineer your perfect robot and prepare it for the robot battle and races. See what a day in the life of a Robotics Engineer is all about as you create your own robot that you actually program. All new prizes, quality projects, and the amazing Mr. Fogg are going to make this a session for the record books.

    WEBBY JAZZ & HIP HOP

    This class introduces the fundamentals of Jazz technique while combining popular hip hop routines with today’s most exciting steps. Class will start with a basic jazz warm up including floor stretches and exercises, and then we will introduce technique and steps across the floor. Students will learn exciting routines to age appropriate music and have fun while building body awareness, flexibility coordination and self confidence!

    This science program for pre-kindergartners will delight and astonish young children encountering the wonders of nature for the first time!     WEBBY YOGA & CREATIVE MOVEMENT

    This class will introduce children to the fundamentals of yoga through imagery, poses, and breathing techniques. Our yoga program is an engaging way to develop focusing skills and expand children’s imaginations with use of fun class themes. A portion of each class will be devoted to dance and creative movement to get children off the mat and encourage their creativity. This combination class will increase balance, flexibility, focus and coordination while encouraging children to have fun and be creative!
