HS Librarian

Maintain a state-of-the-art library with a user friendly atmosphere where students may research or study. Develop media resource database for use by students and faculty. Maintain accurate collection inventory and budget for the library. Research, selects, orders and classifies all books and reference materials for the library.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree required, Master Degree preferred in Librarian Studies with five years library or multi-media information management experience. Private school experience and knowledge of WASC accreditation process is preferred. Should have a working knowledge of computers including, Macintosh, PC, and trouble shooting skills as well as a working knowledge of college related software and data bases. Will be expected to teach high school classes that come to the library to conduct research. Should be extremely organized and able to work on multiple tasks at once.

Admissions Director, Citron Campus (preschool-kindergarten)
Admissions Director, College Preparatory (7-12)


Fairmont’s Admissions staff is a team of professionals that contributes to a collaborative and professional work environment dedicated to the recruitment and enrollment of qualified students.

The Admissions Director will report directly to the Campus Director and will play a key role in shaping the composition of the student body and provide leadership for the school’s admissions program.

Responsibilities:
  • Articulates the school’s mission effectively to identified applicants & their families and community partners throughout the admissions process.
  • Evaluates, recommends and implements strategic initiative to meet annual enrollment goals.
  • Working with the Admissions team, creates the calendar of recruitment activities and admissions events and administrates these programs, including but not limited to school visits, back to school night, open house events, move up days and student ambassador programs.
  • Establishes, cultivates and maintains a collegial working relationship with feeder schools throughout the community.
  • Establishes and maintains the admissions database and student enrollment files.
  • Partnering with the marketing and communications team, coordinates communication pieces, including admissions materials, web site and the Fairmont Report Card.
  • Coordinates the student ambassador programs to support the schools admissions program
  • Plans and attends all admission events and activities including periodic weekend and evening community events
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with Fairmont Schools' faculty, staff and with the administrative teams of other campuses and other schools throughout the community.
  • Exhibits leadership competencies including strategic thinking, managing multiple priorities, organizational abilities and team building, ability to meet deadlines and manage details.
  • Responds with professionalism in addressing highly sensitive matters.
Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors’ degree, Master’s preferred
  • Five years experience in private school admissions
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in works, excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


Life Sciences / Biology Teacher

Teach Biology and Life Sciences in both lab and lecture settings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or related field. Must have a minimum of two to three years in the classroom. Able to work in a diverse work environment and communicate well with students, parents and staff.

Chemistry Teacher

Teach Honors and CP Chemistry with ability of teaching AP Chemistry. A plus if able to teach CP or Honors Physics. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Teaching Credential is highly desirable. Must have a minimum of three years teaching Chemistry at the High School level. Able to work in a diverse work environment and communicate well with students, parents and staff.

Volleyball Coach / PE Teacher

HS Girls P.E. Teacher/Athletic Trainer. This position will provide rehabilitation services to sports related injured patients, coordinate sports medicine services and provide sports enhancement programs to athletes and teach students at all levels in the areas of PE and Health. Must be able to communicate with faculty, parents, students, and staff effectively. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related field and Athletic Trainer Certification with two to four years related experience and/or training. Volleyball coaching experience is a plus.

Certified School Bus Driver

Operate school buses on regularly scheduled passenger routes transporting students and school groups to and from schools. Events, and on special field trips, in accordance with requirements of school transportation schedules and traffic laws. Qualifications: Must possess and maintain a valid Class B California Driver License with a passenger endorsement and remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
