Educational Background: Mrs. Petersen holds a Bachelor�s degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
Work experience: With extensive admissions experience relating to domestic and international students, Mrs. Betty Petersen was recruited by Fairmont in the summer of 2008. Prior to Fairmont, Mrs. Petersen was the Director of Admissions and Marketing for Capistrano Valley Christian School, a K-12th grade private school in Southern California. A native of Canada, Mrs. Petersen relocated to Southern California in 1997 at which time she was the Director of Operations for a Management Consulting Firm.
Hobbies, special interests: She loves spending time with her family and being active outdoors.� At one time she owned and operated a restaurant in Ottawa and still enjoys gourmet food, cooking and restaurants.
